Osaka Metro and KDDI are putting online consultation booths outside station ticket gates. The announced start is October 30 at Nishi-Umeda and Kitahanada; Tenjinbashisuji 6-chome follows in early November. The service brings a screen and remote staff into the station, not a resident doctor onto the concourse.
The booths are advertised as available from 9:00 to 21:00 without advance appointments. That is the enclosure's window, not a promise that every service is available for twelve hours. The partner clinics, pharmacy and other operators keep separate reception times and breaks.
What the ¥330 actually buys
Online medical consultations carry a ¥330 system fee, with medical costs charged separately. Online medication guidance has its own ¥330 system fee, including delivery, with medicine costs additional. Neither figure is a complete treatment price.
The medical-system provider says a doctor decides whether to prescribe. If medicine is prescribed through its clinic service, patients can choose online pharmacy guidance and delivery, or collection at a designated nearby pharmacy. The announcement does not promise immediate medicine, a particular prescription or the same arrangement for every clinical case.
Some other consultations are free, including the listed care and welfare service. Commercial services also share the booths: financial advice, an au PAY card service, smartphones, household services and utilities. A free consultation can still lead to a paid contract. Read the selected service's terms, rather than treating the booth as one free public-service counter.
A private enclosure, with a camera disclosure
The supplier describes a soundproof individual booth. Metro and KDDI also say security-camera footage inside will be analysed by an AI system to detect unusual use and support safe operation. Those are the operators' statements, not an independent privacy assessment.
The launch material I checked did not settle footage retention, who can access it, whether audio is recorded, or what information is visible to the camera. It would be wrong to turn that gap into either a claim that medical consultations are recorded or a guarantee that every privacy question has been answered.
Nishi-Umeda's booth is outside the south gates. Kitahanada's is outside its gates; Tenroku's planned location is outside the east gates. The initial three-station rollout is intended to test demand. Before making a journey around it, check the partner's current hours, fees and requirements. Easier access is useful. A station booth is still a service with limits, not a clinic that never closes.

システム提供事業者は、処方の要否は医師が判断すると説明しています。同社が案内する西梅田シティクリニックの診療では、処方された場合、オンライン服薬指導後の郵送、または指定する近隣薬局での対面受取を選べます。必ず薬が出る、すぐ届く、すべての診療で同じ受取方法になる、と保証する案内ではありません。
介護・福祉相談など無料の相談もあります。一方、金融、au PAYカード、スマートフォン、家事関連サービス、電気・ガス・インターネットの相談も同じブースで提供されます。相談無料でも、個別の契約や購入には費用がかかる場合があります。
個室とカメラは別の話
ブース提供企業は防音個室と説明しています。同時に、MetroとKDDIは、ブース内の防犯カメラ映像をAIで分析し、通常と異なる利用状況を検知すると明記しています。安全な運営を目的とした事業者側の説明で、第三者によるプライバシー評価ではありません。
確認した発表資料では、映像の保存期間、閲覧できる人、音声録音の有無、カメラに映る情報までは確定できませんでした。診療内容を録画していると断定するのも、個室だからすべて安心と保証するのも違います。
西梅田は南改札外、北花田は改札外、天六は東改札外に設置予定です。まず3駅で利用状況やニーズを検証する取り組み。行く前に、利用するサービスの受付時間、料金、条件を確認してからどうぞ。駅でつながれることと、いつでも開いている診療所であることは同じではありません。
